Thailand is well-known for its delicious fruits, fresh exotic and colorful. There is good news for all the fruit lovers: Kanchanaburi will organize a fruit fair with an abundance of fruits and regional products on the 3th until the 5th of July. Located just on one hour drive from SERENATA’s resorts, is it the ideal activity for a day trip which can be combined with a visit to either the Erawan national park or the Khao Laem National Park.

The fair
The fair offers several fruits to visitors including papaya, pineapple, durian, longkong, mangosteen and rambutan. Are this fruits of which you never heard before? Well, the market is the chance to try all these exotic fruits, fresh from the trees! Besides there are many local products exposed to its visitors such as vegetables and other local products and plants.

Specials
The fair is open all day and organizing special fruit contests and parades. A highlight of the event is the spectacular light and sound show in the evening displaying the history of the Thong Pha Phum district. The festival is to be found on the Vajiralongkorn Dam next to a gigantic lake encompassed by two national parks. Therefore ideal to combine your visit to the fair with a walk through one of the nature parks.

Access and location
Opening times: The festival will be held from 3 to 5 July, lasting from 9.00 AM until 9.00 PM.
Where: Head to the Helipad of the Vajiralongkorn Dam in the Kanchanaburi province and you will see the market stalls.
